Hiking Mt. Rose!

We woke up at 7am got ready to go for a hike. We met Berenise, Q, and mom at Mt. Rose at 8:45am and we began our hike. Zaylee had the best seat in the house :) in a hiking back pack. Josh carried her the whole way and I had our snack back pack:)
We ended up going a little past the waterfall so we ended up hiking about 6.7 miles. We got done at 11:15am.

On the way down we were saying how Zaylee was going to fall asleep as soon as she got in the car but she actually surprised all of us. She was quiet and we didn't hear her so I looked and what do you know she is snoozing away. Lol.
Josh and I want to go back up there and go to the very top of Mt. Rose. That is like 10 miles...fun fun :) it is so pretty up there..

We came home showered and took a 1 hour power nap. And now we are getting ready to go meet everyone. We are going to go to Atlantis buffet for dinner well I guess this will be breakfast lunch and dinner!! YUM:)

Friday mom, Berenise , Zaylee, and myself went to go get pedicures.. I wish I was getting one now lol.. Then after that I went home and got Josh and went to Hiroba for sushi. It was great as always :)

Happy Birthday Josh

Today was Josh's 26th birthday! He had to work until 2:30 then. We went out for dinner (Mexican food) and it was okay..

Then we came home and had ice cream cake it was very very sweat. It didn't turn out quite like I wanted it to. But oh well.

Sushi & More

My sister Berenise and Quinten took us out for sushi tonight celebrating Josh's Birthday a few days early!! It was VERY GOOD as always. Josh and I both tried some new rolls, we liked all of them except for 1 that Quinten got that was not very good. LOL.

I remembered I was supposed to take pictures at the very end. So I just have a few to share. :)

We are baby free tonight!! Auntie Naya and Uncle Travis have her for the night :) We are so blessed to have family so close to us that can watch her when we want a little brake and have some time alone!! 

Also here is my skirt almost all done. Still have to fix the back and hem it up. BUT... Josh is helping me sew the pleats in.. soo I can't say I made this skirt. I just helped. LOL :) Better than not having anything to do with it I guess..

And of course I need to show a picture of Zay Zay!! She is getting so big. Today I gave her some goldfish in a snack holder and she took it and went and sat in her chair and talked to herself while she ate her fishys.

~Learning to sew~

Okay soo.. it is now 12:15am and I am still awake. Josh and Zaylee are in bed but I am determined to finish part of my project.

Josh is teaching me how to make my own jean skirts :P That way I don't have to keep asking him to make things for me. (LOL it should probably be the other way around; me teaching him, but oh well he is just good like that :) }

Here is what I have done:

First I cut out all the diamonds

Then I sewed & surged pieces together

I am going to stop here and continue later today :}
The pants are torn apart and ready to sew the pleats in.

Hapy 4th of July!!!

Yes! I am still alive :) It has been well over a month since my last blog update and I am hearing all kinds of comments as to how I never update my blog!! LOL. I update my blog every couple months where someone I know only updates theirs every time she goes on vacation!! HEHE!! (Which is about every 4 months) LOL!!

Yesterday we had a BBQ at the church.. we ate a lot, played volleyball, and watched the fireworks.

Only 5 more days for my loves Birthday!! I think we are going to go have sushi tomorrow to celebrate early! :) YUM!! I will show some pictures of what we eat when we go :)
